CBD Study Guide

Ok everyone's heard of CBD, it's literally everywhere. It's in lattes, tinctures, snacks and more but does anyone really even know what CBD is!? In honor of our first CBD product launching on the site (Siren Snacks), we'll give you the 411 on Hemp CBD! So settle in, relax (LOL) and read!

Cannabis: The marijuana plant.

CBD: CBD stands for Cannabidiol and it is the major non-psychoactive healing component of Cannabis Sativa or Hemp.

Canniboid: any of a group of closely related compounds which include cannabinoland the active constituents of cannabis. There are 66 canniboids in total. Some include: CBD, THC, CBC.

THC: THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol and it is the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis that gets users "high".

What is Hemp CBD?

Hemp CBD is made from industrial hemp, yes the same exact hemp you dump (just me?) into your yogurt and smoothies every morning! So hemp CBD is just the healing properties contained within the hemp seed extracted out.

What does it do/ What are the benefits?

Full-spectrum Hemp CBD has been shown to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain and provide a sense of calmness and relief! Hello Wednesday savior. It's 100% natural and completely legal in the US.

Will I get high?

Don't get too excited hemp CBD is regulated in its production and is tested for THC  levels ensuring there is no THC present. Therefore no, there are no psychoactive properties in hemp CBD. Sorry it's not that type of party.

Is it addictive?

Hemp CBD is not addictive but those Siren Snacks with Hemp CBD in them might as well be they're so yummy.

I hope this cleared up some of your CBD confusion! Have you tried the new Siren Snacks out yet?! If not, you need to get your head out of the clouds and go get some, available at mylkguys.com
